Human Subjects / IRB Decision Charts

http://www.hhs.gov/ohrp/humansubjects/guidance/decisioncharts.htm

For projects with a research component, PIs are required to review these charts to determine whether an IRB application for human subjects is required for the project. Note that if an IRB application is needed, project funds cannot be released until the IRB approves your protocol and a copy of the approval and protocol are received in the UTCM office. For help in completing the HHS decision charts, contact the TAMU Office of Research Compliance (the "IRB Office") or Sue Chrysler.
